About Me:
Lonnie Hughes has turned his life into art, literally, for the past 18 years. His life is portrayed in the film Every Saturday Night I’m Jewish. Ever since The New York Times called him the “Life of the Party,” Lonnie has continued to gain recognition as an actor and artist through guest starring roles in network hits such as Mad Men, The Ghost Whisperer, The Shield, ER, Dirt, and Moonlight. He was also the lead in the feature film The Dinner Party, which won the Portuguese Film Festival. Lonnie co-wrote and is currently working with Rick Porras (The Lord of the Rings) on the feature film The Land. He is also developing and workshopping a musical, Hope is a Window. Further, he recently finished shooting supporting roles in the feature films, Elena Undone, and A Numbers Game. With more than a half dozen national commercials wrapped, and performances in a number of independent films such as "El Tio Sam".
